Richard F. "Dick" Celeste (b. Nov. 11, 1937, Cleveland, OH) was governor of Ohio, diplomat, and politician. He graduated from Yale University (1959) and received a Rhodes Scholarship to study at Exeter College, Oxford University. After, he served as staff liaison in Peace Corps as assistant to Chester Bowles. He was elected to Ohio House of Representatives (1970) and later Lieutenant Governor of Ohio (1974).
